GGRA Announces $100 Million in New Projects with Much More on Horizon

The Greater Greenspoint Redevelopment Authority (GGRA) recently announced several new projects for the Greenspoint area. The GGRA provides financial incentives for qualifying developers who include public amenities and improvements in their projects. Current projects include:

600,000 square-foot business park in Greens Crossing by Simmons Vedder
Redevelopment of Greenspoint Mall, including 15-acre public plaza
1.3 million square-foot business park by Industrial Developments International
Expansion of Greenspoint Drive to Aldine Bender
Streetscape enhancements, including landscaping, public art and other special features

YMCA Offering Fitness Classes At Greenspoint’s Wussow Park

Are you looking for summer activities for you or the kids? Thanks to a partnership between the Greater Greenspoint District, Greater Greenspoint Redevelopment Authority and the Aldine-Greenspoint YMCA, a variety of classes are now available to the public at Wussow Park, conveniently located at 500 Greens Rd. Activities include:

Karate (ages 5-12)
Cheerleading (ages 5-12)
G. I. Training Classes, a boot-camp style workout (ages 18 and up)
