The extension of Greenspoint
Drive south to Aldine Bender will do more than improve traffic flow. It will
provide the canvas for yet another piece of public art – this time, in the form
of a skyline-enhancing signature bridge.

As local law enforcement
works to combat auto theft across the City of Houston, the Greater Greenspoint
District (GGD) is encouraging everyone to take part in minimizing crime by
taking simple precautionary measures that contribute to a safer
community.

Since 1985, Greenspointers have
joined forces with local law enforcement to promote a safe community at the
annual Law Enforcement Expo at Greenspoint Mall. This collaborative effort will continue
on Saturday, September 23, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., when more than 30 law enforcement
agencies will provide fun and informative exhibits for the entire family. In addition, the event honors the
individuals, organizations, and agencies who keep us safe. The event is co-hosted by the North
Houston Greenspoint Chamber of Commerce, Greenspoint Mall, the Harris County
Sheriff’s Department, and the Houston Police Department. Admission is free.
